A critical review of Vitamin D and Cancer: A report of the IARC Working Group.

TL;DR: The only randomized controlled trial on cancer incidence that used a sufficiently high dose of vitamin D and calcium found a 77% reduction in the risk of all-cancer incidence in postmenopausal women who received both, of which approximately 35% reduction was attributed to vitamin D alone.
