Liquid Crystalline Polyacetylenes: Synthesis and Properties of Poly{n-[((4‘-cyano-4-biphenylyl)oxy)carbonyl]-1-alkynes}
TL;DR: In this paper, a group of cyano-containing acetylene monomers are polymerized by the simple metal halides, suggesting that the tungsten-oxo complexes are involved in the active center formation.

Synthesis, Structures and Oxo Transfer Reactivity of bis(Dithiolene) Tungsten(IV,VI) Complexes Related to the Active Sites of Tungstoenzymes
TL;DR: A series of bis(dithiolene)tungsten(IV,VI) complexes derived from benzene-1,2-Dithiolate (bdt) has been prepared as an synthetic approach to pterin dithiolenes-bound active sites of tungstoenzymes, one example of which, a archaeal oxidoreductase, has been established crystallographically.

TL;DR: The amphoteric character of the Mo=O unit in oxomolybdenum chlorides was found to be responsible for the catalytic NAS profile as supported by a control NAS reaction of using an authentic adduct-MoOCl(2)(O( 2)CBu(t)())(2) between pivalic anhydride and MoO(2)Cl(1) as the catalyst.
