Numerical analysis of spray characteristics of dimethyl ether and diethyl ether fuel
TLDR
In this paper, the spray characteristics of ether fuels such as dimethyl ether and diethyl ether have been numerically investigated using KIVA-4 CFD code and a new hybrid spray model developed by coupling the standard KHRT model to cavitation sub model was used.About:

Effects of cold start control strategy on cold start performance of the diesel engine based on a comprehensive preheat diesel engine model
TL;DR: In this paper, the simulation and experiment were attributed to be combined on the basis of previous research methods in this work with a comprehensive consideration of low temperature, atmospheric pressure, preheating effect et al. The results indicated that the maps with preheat function simulated by using detailed engine parameters can achieve the requirements of the cold start under the low temperature range (−25.5°C to −16°C).

An improved method for coupling the in-nozzle cavitation with Multi-fluid-quasi-VOF model for diesel spray
TL;DR: In this article, a hybrid multiphase method is proposed to simulate the cavitation inside the nozzle and the primary breakup of a diesel spray in OpenFOAM code, which combines the cavity sub-model with the Multi-fluid-quasi-VOF (volume of fluid) model.
