TLDR
In this article, several reaction schemes are proposed to account for thermal decomposition reactions undergone by both zinc hydroxide chlorides and β-Zn(OH)Cl materials.Abstract:
The thermal decomposition of Zn5(OH)8Cl2·H2O and β-Zn(OH)Cl materials under several experimental conditions has been studied by thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction and X-ray high-temperature powder diffraction techniques. Several reaction schemes are proposed to account for thermal decomposition reactions undergone by both zinc hydroxide chlorides.read more

Influence of the Precursors and Chemical Composition of the Solution on the Properties of ZnO Thin Films Grown by Spray Pyrolysis
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of solution composition on the properties of ZnO thin films grown by spray pyrolysis has been investigated and it was found that organic salts are preferable over inorganic ones such as chlorides and nitrates.

Evidence for the formation of anhydrous zinc acetate and acetic anhydride during the thermal degradation of zinc hydroxy acetate, Zn5(OH)8(CH3CO2)2·4H2O to ZnO
TL;DR: In this paper, it has been demonstrated by FTIR analysis that the interaction of the acetate anion with the matrix cation is ionic, contrary to previous reports, and the anhydrous zinc acetate is finally lost, at temperatures below 400°C, as acetic anhydride, (CH 3 CO) 2 O.

TL;DR: In this paper, the replacement of a hydroelectric power station with a thermal sensor is discussed. But the results show that the replacement is not suitable for all applications, and the results are limited to the case of β-ZnOHCl and ZnOHF.
