Stable dye-encapsulated indium–organic framework as dual-emitting sensor for the detection of Hg2+/Cr2O72− and a wide range of nitro-compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-emitting composite 1-ethylpyridinium (DSM) was synthesized with the encapsulation of cationic dye 4-[p-(dimethylamino)styryl]-1-ethyl pyrinium, which exhibits sensitive quenching response towards Hg2+ and Cr2O72− ions in aqueous solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly sensitive and selective SO2 MOF sensor: the integration of MFM-300 MOF as a sensitive layer on a capacitive interdigitated electrode
TL;DR: In this article, an advanced chemical capacitive sensor for the detection of sulfur dioxide (SO2) at room temperature is presented. And the sensor exhibits significant detection sensitivity to SO2 at concentrations down to 75 ppb, with the lower detection limit estimated to be around 5 ppb.
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of redox hopping in metal–organic framework electrocatalysis
TL;DR: This work provides a mathematical framework to provide constraints to MOF catalyst development by relating Dapp, TOF, and film thickness in the context of providing 10 mA cm-2 of catalytic current.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal–organic framework nanosheets (MONs): a new dimension in materials chemistry
TL;DR: The metal-organic framework nanosheets (MONs) as discussed by the authors are a class of two-dimensional materials with a distinct set of design principles, synthetic approaches, characterisation techniques and applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Integration of a (-Cu-S-)n plane in a metal-organic framework affords high electrical conductivity.
Abhishek Pathak,Abhishek Pathak,Jing-Wen Shen,Muhammad Usman,Ling-Fang Wei,Shruti Mendiratta,Yu-Shin Chang,Batjargal Sainbileg,Chin-May Ngue,Ruei-San Chen,Michitoshi Hayashi,Tzuoo-Tsair Luo,Fu-Rong Chen,Kuei-Hsien Chen,Kuei-Hsien Chen,Tien-Wen Tseng,Li-Chyong Chen,Kuang-Lieh Lu +17 more
TL;DR: This approach provides an ideal roadmap for producing highly conductive MOFs with great potential for applications in batteries, thermoelectric, supercapacitors and related areas.

The Properties of Carbon Contacts
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of contacts between small spherules of silica are shown to be dependent on the structure and geometry of the carbon surface as determined by electron diffraction and microscopic studies.
