Promotion effect of Ni doping on the oxygen resistance property of Fe/CeO2 catalyst for CO-SCR reaction: Activity test and mechanism investigation.

TL;DR: In this paper , the performance of the NiFe/CeO2 catalyst in the presence of oxygen was investigated and the results showed that the doped Ni can interact with Fe species, increases the surface area of the catalyst and generates more surface oxygen vacancies (SOV) and surface synergetic oxygen vacancy (SSOV) in CO-SCR reaction.

Self-regeneration of a Pd-perovskite catalyst for automotive emissions control

TL;DR: X-ray diffraction and absorption is used to show that LaFe0.05O3, one of the perovskite-based catalysts investigated for catalytic converter applications since the early 1970s, retains its high metal dispersion owing to structural responses to the fluctuations in exhaust-gas composition that occur in state-of-the-art petrol engines.
