The Social Capital of French and American Managers

TL;DR: The authors found that exposure to peers in other firms via executive education is the only factor positively associated with the social capital of bridge relationships in France and the U.S. and found that French managers operate with a less porous social boundary around their firm and associate negative emotions with bridge relations.

Are Patriots Bigots? An Inquiry into the Vices of In-Group Pride

TL;DR: This article found that national pride is most validly measured with two dimensions - patriotism and nationalism - two dimensions that have very different relationships with prejudice, while nationalists have a strong predilection for hostility towards immigrants, patriots show no more prejudice than does the average citizen.
