Stability analysis of particle dynamics in gravitational search optimization algorithm

TLDR
The modified algorithm based on stability analysis is compared with the standard GSA, PSO, RGA, and two methods of improved GSA in terms of average, median, and standard deviation of best-so-far solutions and results demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the proposed modified GSA.

A stability constrained adaptive alpha for gravitational search algorithm

TL;DR: This paper proposes a new variant of GSA, namely stability constrained adaptive alpha for GSA (SCAA), which has been evaluated by comparing with the original GSA and four alpha adjusting algorithms on 13 conventional functions and 15 complex CEC2015 functions and demonstrated that SCAA has significantly better searching performance than its peers do.

Evolutionary programming made faster

TL;DR: A "fast EP" (FEP) is proposed which uses a Cauchy instead of Gaussian mutation as the primary search operator and is proposed and tested empirically, showing that IFEP performs better than or as well as the better of FEP and CEP for most benchmark problems tested.
