Journal ArticleDOI
Gas chromatographic-mass spectrometric method for the determination of bisphenol A and its chlorinated derivatives in urban wastewater.
TL;DR: The proposed method was applied satisfactory to the determination of trace amounts of endocrine disruptors in different types of wastewater previously spiked with different amounts of these chemicals at concentration levels ranging from 0.01 to 2.01 microg L(-1) for BPA, 0.05-2.50 micro L(- 1) for Cl-BPA and 0.00-5.00microg L(3)-BPA, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of trace amounts of bisphenol F, bisphenol A and their diglycidyl ethers in wastewater by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple and sensitive method for the determination of trace amounts of bisphenol F, BPA, BFDGE and their diglycidyl ethers in wastewater is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on the synergic effect of natural compounds on the microbial quality decay of packed fish hamburger
Maria Rosaria Corbo,Barbara Speranza,Alfonso Filippone,S. Granatiero,Amalia Conte,Milena Sinigaglia,M.A. Del Nobile +6 more
TL;DR: Control of the microbiological spoilage by combined use of three antimicrobials and the determination of their optimal composition to extend the fish hamburger Microbiological Stability Limit (MAL) are the main objectives.
Journal ArticleDOI
Small Composite Designs
TL;DR: In this article, simple second-order composite designs for k = 5, 7, and 9 factors were proposed for the first time, with one run fewer than Westlake's design for K = 5 and 7 and three fewer for 9 factors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Altered postprandial motility in chronic pancreatitis: Role of malabsorption
P.G. Layer,M.R. von der Ohe,Jens J. Holst,Jan B.M.J. Jansen,D. Grandt,Gerald Holtmann,Harald Goebell +6 more
TL;DR: In subjects with pancreatic insufficiency, a low-energy liquid meal induces shorter fed motor pattern associated with accelerated gastric emptying and intestinal transitCompared with healthy subjects, ileal delivery of malabsorbed chyme may be involved as a mechanism.
