Abstract
Consideration of a number of problems which arise in the analysis of angular correlation and angular distribution data is given. These include corrections for finite angular resolution. For a source of constant strength the questions of determination of most probable counting rates, their associated errors and the determination of the most probable coefficients in the Legendre representation of the data, as well as the errors in the determination of these coefficients, are examined. A brief discussion of the corrections for a decaying source is also presented.

Electron-gamma directional correlation experiments in 75As

TL;DR: Using an electron-gamma directional correlation spectrometer, the mixing ratios of the 280 keV and 265 keV transitions have been measured in this paper, and the experimental results are δ 280 = −0.044 − 0.017 + 0.008 and δ 265 = −1.609±0.252 is in agreement with the theoretical value.

Introduction of meteorological corrections into meson monitor data.

TL;DR: In this article, a set of regression calculations has been carried out correlating the daily average meson intensity with barometric pressure, atmospheric temperature and neutron monitor intensity, and it was found that the formulations of Dorman, of Maeda, and of Wada were almost indistinguishable in terms of the available data and yielded by far the best fit among the variables.

Study of the excited states in 30Si by means of the 30Si(α, α'γ)30Si reaction

TL;DR: In this article, an annular Si detector placed at 180° to the incident beam and 25 and 30 cm 3 Ge(Li) detectors were used for particle and gamma-ray detection, respectively.

Gamma-Gamma Angular Correlations in Cs131

TL;DR: In this article, the γγ angular correlation has been remeasured for the 924-124 keV cascade in Cs 131, since the correlation function obtained in the previous experiment were found to contain error due to Compton scattered gamma rays.

Untersuchung Der Anregungszustande Des 96Mo Kernes über Die Reaktion 95Mo(n, γ)96Mo

TL;DR: In this paper, the gamma radiation following thermal neutron capture in 95 Mo has been studied using an enriched sample of MoO 3 in external target geometry at the Karlsruhe reactor FR 2.
