Abstract
We have analysed the three-body annihilations at rest \(\overline p n \to K\overline K \pi \), from a total sample of 2.22·105 annihilations. The annihilation at rest \(\overline p n \to K\overline K \pi \) has been studied by Conforto et al. The « multiple final-state interaction model » developed by them has been used to analyse the Open image in new window annihilation; an overall consistent picture is obtained in this way.

The physics of nucleon-antinucleon annihilation

TL;DR: In this paper, a more phenomenological approach is adopted, in which various annihilation topologies combined with different prescriptions for the dependence of the effective quark-antiquark (QQ) creation/destruction operator on spin, flavor and color.

The antinucleon-nucleon interaction at low energy: annihilation dynamics

TL;DR: In this paper, the general properties of antiproton-proton annihilation at rest are presented, with special focus on the two-meson final states, and the data exhibit remarkable dynamical selection rules: some allowed annihilation modes are suppressed by one order of magnitude with respect to modes of comparable phase-space.

Rates for the reactions $$\bar pp \to \pi \phi $$ and? ?

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the effects of ρ+ρ− rescattering on ρπππφ and γφ channels at rest and showed that the γ φ channel is well explained by a φ intermediate state combined with vector meson dominance.

Rates for the reactions antiproton-proton --> pi phi and gamma phi

TL;DR: In this paper, the antiproton-proton annihilation at rest into π and π-gamma π was studied and the rescattering contributions were shown to be negligible.

TL;DR: In this paper, a breakdown of isospin symmetry is determined from experimental data on p p annihilation into two mesons, which is predicted by models of strong interactions in p p atoms.

Three-Pion Decays of Unstable Particles

TL;DR: In this article, the properties of particles of arbitrary spin and parity that decay into three pseudoscalar mesons are surveyed, with primary attention to $3\ensuremath{\pi}$ decays, in order to find efficient means of detecting such particles.

Experimental results on the (KK) and (Kp) systems as observed in the annihilations pp → KKπ at rest

TL;DR: In this article, an extensive study of p p annihilations at rest involving K K pairs in the final state, 2000 events p p → K 1 0 K ± K ± π ± and 364 eventsp p → k 1 0, K 1, 0, 1 0 π 0 have been analyzed, and it was shown that the K∗(891) is strongly produced.

Annihilation into pions of the\(\bar p\)n system from antiprotons at rest in deuterium

TL;DR: In this article, the pionic resonances ρ, ω and f0 were measured and analysed in detail and the rates into the various multipion final states were determined.

Proton-Antiproton Annihilation in Protonium

TL;DR: In this article, the capture rates for the various eigenstates of protonium are calculated using the model for the nucleon-antinucleon interaction proposed by Ball and Chew, and it is found that these rates depend sensitively on spin, isotopic spin, and total angular momentum eigenvalues of proptonium, not just on orbital angular momentum.
