The infrared spectra of a series of crystalline sulfate-apatites of the type AI 3MII 2(SO4)3X are presented and discussed in this article.
Abstract
The infrared spectra of a series of crystalline sulfate-apatites of the type AI 3MII 2(SO4)3X are presented and discussed. It is demonstrated that the sulfate groups are not greatly distorted in these compounds.

Increased sulfate as an etiological factor in the hypercalciuria associated with total parenteral nutrition.

TL;DR: It is suggested that the increased sulfate burden experienced when TPN is instituted may be one of the causes of the disturbance in calcium balance and the possible association of hypersulfatemia, hypercalciuria, and TPN-associated bone disease merits further attention.

Plasma profiles and removal rates of inorganic sulphate, and their influence on serum ionized calcium, in patients on maintenance haemodialysis

TL;DR: To evaluate the adequacy of modern dialysis techniques in maintaining the sulphate balance, intra- and interdialysis plasma profiles and removal rates of sulphate were studied in 20 stable patients on maintenance haemodialysis and there was a close correlation between serum levels of sulphates and creatinine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Serum Sulphate Levels in Hemodialysis Patients.

TL;DR: Serum sulphate levels were approximately twofold higher in hemodialysis patients than in the normal control group, and inorganic sulphate does not seem to accumulate in long-term dialysis patients, and mild increased serum levels of sulphate has no poor clinical outcome in these patients.

Adsorption and Release of Sulfamethizole from Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles Functionalised with Triethylenetetramine

TL;DR: In this article, mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) were synthesised and functionalised with triethylenetetramine (MSN-TETA) and used as carriers for the adsorption of the antimicrobial drug sulphamethizole (SMZ).

Spectra structure correlations in hydroxy and fluorapatite

TL;DR: The infra-red spectra of synthetic hydroxyapatite, Ca 10 (PO 4 ) 6 (OH) 2, and mineral fluoraphatite over the range 4000-250 cm −1 are reported in this article.

Forbidden transitions in the infra-red spectra of tetrahedral anions—III. Spectra-structure correlations in perchlorates, sulphates and phosphates of the formula MXO4

TL;DR: In this article, the spectra of 63 compounds have been recorded as mulls in Nujol and in hexachlorobutadiene and as alkali halide discs.

I.R. spectra of the phosphate ions in various apatites

TL;DR: The dependence of the wavenumbers of these vibrations on certain properties of the ions M and X is discussed in this paper, where the dependence of those vibrations on the properties of these ions is discussed.

Vibrational spectra of oxo-, thio-, and selenometallates of transition elements in the solid state

TL;DR: Chromates, Molybda, and Chromates as mentioned in this paper have used the hashtag #ConfigualIbraves to describe the number of configual Ibraves used by a group of women in the last year.
