Ship Detection in High-Resolution Dual-Polarization SAR Amplitude Images

TL;DR: A constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detecting method for ships in high-resolution dual-polarization synthetic aperture radar (SAR) amplitude images has been proposed in this paper.

Multimodal Classification of Remote Sensing Images: A Review and Future Directions Thispaperprovidesareviewofcurrentmethodologiesinsevenchallengingdatafusion applications for remote sensing and highlights the promising methods that benefit from the synergy between machine learning and signal processing.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a taxonomical view of the field and review the current method- ologies for multimodal classification of remote sensing images and highlight the most recent advances, which exploit sy- nergies with machine learning and signal processing: sparse methods, kernel-based fusion, Markov modeling and manifold alignment.

A Statistical Analysis for Wavelength-Resolution SAR Image Stacks

TL;DR: The tests results reveal that the Rician distribution is a very good candidate for modeling stack of wavelength-resolution SAR images, where 98.59% of the tested samples passed the Anderson–Darling (AD) goodness-of-fit test.

Ship Detection in Dual-Channel ATI-SAR Based on the Notch Filter

TL;DR: Theoretical proof that the interferometric magnitude performs better in ship detection than single-channel amplitude/intensity is given based on the signal-clutter-ratio improvement and the version of the notch filter that is suitable for the ATI-SAR, that is, theInterferometric notch filter (INF), is proposed.

An Improved Scheme for Parameter Estimation of g° Distribution Model in High-Resolution SAR Images

TL;DR: An improved parameter estimation scheme of the G 0 distribution is proposed, which combines the classical moment estimation with the mellin transform and adopts the Kullback- Leibler distance, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Mean Square Error as similarity measurements.
