Graphite significantly reduces the wax loss from the samples.
The graphene electrodes are fabricated utilising two different commercially prepared 'graphene' inks, which have long screen ink lifetimes (>3 hours), thus this is the first report of a true mass-reproducible screen-printable graphene ink.
Besides, it exhibits an excellent long-term durability performance even after 10 000 cycles due to the protection of the graphene layers.
There is no significant change noted after 2000 thermal cycles in phase change material/expanded perlite/graphene nano-platelets-5 and phase change material/expanded perlite/graphene nano-platelets-1 samples, suggesting long-term reliability of the composite PCM.
In addition, the sheet resistance of graphene transferred by recycled PSAF does not change considerably up to 4 times, which would be advantageous for more cost-effective and environmentally friendly production of large-area graphene films for practical applications.
This work opens up a whole new vista on how to disperse graphene.
In particular, a point-like defect in graphene may have effects in the long range.
It is evident how investigating the graphene toxicity is of fundamental importance in the context of medical purposes.

While this last scenario promotes the more energy intensive processes, the least impacting technology to produce large quantities of graphene remains the chemical oxidation followed by thermal reduction.
These findings have an important impact on the long-term environmental fate of graphene-related materials in soil-plant systems.
