A randomized controlled, non-inferiority trial of modified natural versus artificial cycle for cryo-thawed embryo transfer
E. R. Groenewoud,Ben J. Cohlen,Amani Al-Oraiby,Egbert A. Brinkhuis,Frank J.M. Broekmans,J.P. de Bruin,G.C. van den Dool,K. Fleisher,Jaap Friederich,Mariëtte Goddijn,Annemieke Hoek,Diederik A. TL;DR: LBRs after AC-Fet were not inferior to those achieved by mNC-FET and the lack of superiority was confirmed, and no significant differences in clinical and OPR were observed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Eijkemans,Helen L. Torrance,Frank J.M. Broekmans +35 more
TL;DR: The results of this study suggest that while the largest proportion of the 95% CI is positive, scratching could have no or even a small negative effect, and at present, endometrial scratching should not be performed outside of clinical trials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Endometrial scratching in women with implantation failure after a first IVF/ICSI cycle; does it lead to a higher live birth rate? The SCRaTCH study: a randomized controlled trial (NTR 5342).

Pieterse,J.C. Boxmeer,E. R. Groenewoud,M.J.C. Eijkemans,Jenneke C. Kasius,Frank J.M. Broekmans +40 more
TL;DR: The SCRaTCH trial proposed here aims to investigate the effect of endometrial scratching prior to controlled ovarian hyperstimulation in a large group of women undergoing a second IVF/ICSI cycle.
Journal ArticleDOI
The FOAM study: is Hysterosalpingo foam sonography (HyFoSy) a cost-effective alternative for hysterosalpingography (HSG) in assessing tubal patency in subfertile women? Study protocol for a randomized controlled trial
Joukje van Rijswijk,Nienke van Welie,Kim Dreyer,Machiel H. A. van Hooff,Jan Bruin,Harold R. Verhoeve,Femke Mol,Kimiko A. Kleiman-Broeze,Maaike A. F. Traas,Guido J. J. M. Muijsers,A. P. Peters,Marit C I Lier,Cornelis B. Lambalk,Madelon van Wely,Patrick M.M. Bossuyt,Jaap Stoker,Fulco van der Veen,Ben W.J. Mol,Velja Mijatovic +35 more
TL;DR: This trial will compare the effectiveness and costs of HyFoSy versus HSG in assessing tubal patency in subfertile women to see if it has similar effectiveness in terms of patient outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Can hysterosalpingo-foam sonography replace hysterosalpingography as first-choice tubal patency test? A randomized non-inferiority trial
N van Welie,Joukje van Rijswijk,Kim Dreyer,Machiel H. A. van Hooff,Jan Bruin,Harold R. Verhoeve,Femke Mol,W. Marchien van Baal,Maaike A. F. Traas,A. M. van Peperstraten,A. P. Bossuyt,Ben W.J. Mol,Velja Mijatovic +33 more
TL;DR: HyFoSy or HSG produce similar tubal pathology findings in a majority of infertile couples and, where they differ, a difference in findings does not lead to substantial difference in pregnancy outcome, while HyfoSy is associated with significantly less pain.
