Disparities in the pace of biological aging among midlife adults of the same chronological age have implications for future frailty risk and policy
Maxwell L. Elliott,Avshalom Caspi,Renate Houts,Antony Ambler,Antony Ambler,Jonathan M. Broadbent,Robert J. Hancox,HonaLee Harrington,Sean Hogan,Ross Keenan,Annchen R. Knodt,Joan H. Leung,Tracy R. Hariri,Richie Poulton,Terrie E. Moffitt +26 more
TL;DR: In this article, a cohort study tracking 20-year age-related declines in multiple organ systems finds that, already by midlife, those aging fastest showed cognitive declines, signs of brain aging, diminished sensory-motor function and negative views about aging.
Journal ArticleDOI
Syphilis surveillance and epidemiology in the United Kingdom.

Journal ArticleDOI
Chlamydia trachomatis Pgp3 Antibody Persists and Correlates with Self-Reported Infection and Behavioural Risks in a Blinded Cohort Study.
Patrick J Horner,Gillian S. Wills,A Righarts,Sueli M. Vieira,Daphne-Zacharenia Kounali,Dhanraj Samuel,Alan Winston,David Muir,Nigel Dickson,Myra McClure +9 more
TL;DR: Chlamydia trachomatis serological studies in populations could help monitor changes in lifetime cumulative risk of infection and serology could be used to evaluate Ct prevention programmes among women, as this antibody persisted for at least twelve years in 96% of these women.
Journal ArticleDOI
Age-related natural fertility outcomes in women over 35 years: a systematic review and individual participant data meta-analysis
S J Chua,N A Danhof,Monique H. Mochtar,M. van Wely,David J. McLernon,Inge M. Custers,Evelyn Lee,Kim Dreyer,David J. Cahill,Wayne R. Gillett,A Righarts,Annika Strandell,T Rantsi,Lone Schmidt,Marinus J.C. Eijkemans,Ben W.J. Mol,Ben W.J. Mol,R van Eekelen +17 more
TL;DR: The probability of natural conception significantly decreased with any diagnosis of infertility, when compared with unexplained infertility, and women attending fertility services should be encouraged to pursue natural conception while waiting for treatment to commence and after treatment if it is unsuccessful.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Prevalence and Potential Determinants of Dysmenorrhoea and Other Pelvic Pain in Women: A Prospective Study
