Photoionization and photofragmentation of the C 60 + molecular ion

TL;DR: Baral et al. as mentioned in this paper reported cross-section measurements for single and double photoionization of C60+ ions in the photon energy range 18-150 eV accompanied by the loss of zero to seven pairs of carbon atoms, as well as for fragmentation without ionization resulting in loss of two to eight pairs of C atoms.

Detailed investigation of electron-impact single-ionization cross sections and plasma rate coefficients of N-shell tin ions

TL;DR: In this article, the cross-beams of Snq + ions in charge states q = 4−13 with 4d[10 − (q − 4)] outer shell configurations have been studied in the energy range from the corresponding thresholds up to 1000 eV. Contributions of different ionization mechanisms have been analysed by comparing the experimental data with calculations employing the configuration-averaged distorted wave approximation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron-impact single ionization of Xe10 + ions

TL;DR: In this article, the relative importance of indirect processes involving inner-shell excitation with subsequent autoionization was identified, revealing that an ≈1% fraction of metastable ions present in the parent Xe10 + ion beam has been analysed.
