Wolf,Agostino Marinelli,James P. Cryan +40 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed and demonstrated a new technique to conduct transient absorption spectroscopy with broad bandwidth attosecond pulses with the aid of ghost imaging, recovering sub-bandwidth resolution in photoproduct-based absorption measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photo double ionization of ethylene and acetylene near threshold
B. Gaire,S. Lee,Daniel J. Haxton,Philipp M Pelz,Irina Bocharova,Felix Sturm,N. Gehrken,M. Honig,M. Pitzer,D. Metz,Hyun-Sok Kim,Markus Schöffler,Reinhard Dörner,H. Gassert,S. Zeller,J. TL;DR: In this article, the photo-double ionization of a centrosymmetric closed-shell molecule was investigated and the results in terms of the coincident kinetic energy of the photoelectrons and the nuclear kinetic energy release of recoiling ions were discussed.

Journal ArticleDOI
Photoelectron Diffraction Imaging of a Molecular Breakup Using an X-Ray Free-Electron Laser
G. Kastirke,Markus Schöffler,M. Weller,Jonas Rist,Rebecca Boll,Nils Anders,T. M. Baumann,Sebastian Eckart,Benjamin Erk,Alberto De Fanis,K. Fehre,Averell Gatton,Sven Grundmann,Patrik Grychtol,Alexander Hartung,M. Hofmann,Markus Ilchen,Markus Ilchen,C. Williams,Pawel Ziolkowski,Lothar Ph. H. Schmidt,Achim Czasch,Florian Trinter,Michael Meyer,Kiyoshi Ueda,Philipp V. Demekhin,Till Jahnke +51 more
TL;DR: Kastirke et al. as mentioned in this paper measured the molecular-frame photoelectron emission patterns for a two-photon sequential K-shell ionization in coincidence with the fragment ions, and by sorting the data as a function of the measured kinetic energy release, they can resolve the elongation of the molecular bond by approximately 1.2 a.u.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dissociation dynamics of the water dication following one-photon double ionization. II. Experiment
D. Reedy,D. Reedy,Joshua B. Williams,B. Gaire,Averell Gatton,M. Weller,A. Menssen,T. Bauer,K. Henrichs,Ph. Burzynski,Ben Berry,Zachary L. Streeter,Zachary L. Streeter,J. Sartor,Itzik Ben-Itzhak,Till Jahnke,Reinhard Dörner,Th. Weber,Allen Landers +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Reedy et al. demonstrate the use of cold target ion momentum spectroscopy to perform state-selective measurements of the dissociative channels following single-photon double-ionization of H2O.
