Time-reversal symmetry-breaking superconductivity in Sr2RuO4
Graeme Luke,Y. Fudamoto,Kenji M. Kojima,M. I. Larkin,Jack Merrin,B. Nachumi,Yasutomo J. Uemura,Yoshiteru Maeno,Zhiqiang Mao,Yasuo Mori,Hiroyuki Nakamura,Manfred Sigrist +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spontaneous appearance of an internal magnetic field below the transition temperature of the superconductor Sr2RuO4 was observed, which indicated that the superconducting state in this material is characterized by the breaking of time-reversal symmetry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Charge and magnetic order in La0.5Sr1.5MnO4.
TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic moments associated with these ions form an ordered structure with dimensions $2\sqrt{2}a\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}2.2c$ relative to the underlying chemical cell.
Journal ArticleDOI
Muon Spin Relaxation Studies of Zn-Substitution Effects in High-Tc Cuprate Superconductors.
B. Nachumi,Amit Keren,K. M. Kojima,M. I. Larkin,Graeme Luke,Jack Merrin,O. Tchernyshöv,Yasutomo J. Uemura,Noriya Ichikawa,M. Goto,S. Uchida +10 more
TL;DR: The superconducting carrier density/effective mass ratio at {ital T}{r_arrow}0 decreases with increasing Zn concentration, in a manner consistent with the Swiss cheese model in which charge carriers within an area {pi}{xi}{sub {ital ab}}{sup 2} around each Zn are excluded from the superfluid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reduction of Ordered Moment and Néel Temperature of Quasi-One-Dimensional Antiferromagnets Sr 2 CuO 3 and Ca 2 CuO 3
K. M. Kojima,Y. Fudamoto,M. I. Larkin,Graeme Luke,Jack Merrin,B. Nachumi,Yasutomo J. Uemura,Naoki Motoyama,Hiroshi Eisaki,S. Uchida,Kohta Yamada,Yasuo Endoh,S. Hosoya,B. J. Sternlieb,Gen Shirane +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, elastic neutron diffraction and muon spin relaxation measurements of the quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnets were used to obtain a reduced ordered moment size of 0.06.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superconducting state coexisting with a phase-separated static magnetic order in (Ba,K)Fe2As2, (Sr,Na)Fe2As2, and CaFe2As2
Tatsuo Goko,Tatsuo Goko,Tatsuo Goko,Adam A. Aczel,Elisa Baggio-Saitovitch,S.L. Bud'ko,P. C. Canfield,Jeremy P. Carlo,G. F. Chen,Pengcheng Dai,A. C. Hamann,Wen Hu,Hiroshi Kageyama,Graeme Luke,J. L. Luo,B. Nachumi,N. Ni,Dmitry Reznik,D. R. Sanchez-Candela,Andrei T. Savici,K. J. Sikes,N. L. Wang,Christopher R. Wiebe,Travis Williams,Takafumi Yamamoto,W. Yu,Yasutomo J. Uemura +26 more
TL;DR: By muon spin-relaxation measurements on single-crystal specimens, the authors showed that superconductivity coexists with a strong static magnetic order in a partial volume fraction.
