Journal ArticleDOI

The use of tyrosine kinase inhibitors in modifying the response of tumor microvasculature to radiotherapy.

TL;DR: It is shown using tumor vascular window model and tumor growth delay assays that radiation and RTK inhibitors can enhance tumor radiation response by attacking tumor microvasculature and exert their antiangiogenic effect through inhibition of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, which results in induction of apoptosis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy Delivery in a Genetically Engineered Mouse Model of Lung Cancer.

TL;DR: It is feasible to use the SARRP platform to perform dosimetric planning and delivery of SBRT in mice with lung cancer, and allows for preclinical studies that provide a rationale for clinical trials involving S BRT, especially when combined with immunotherapeutics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of Climate and Rodent Factors on Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome in Chongqing, China, 1997–2008

TL;DR: The monthly trend in HFRS incidence was positively associated with rodent density and rainfall and negatively associated with temperature, which may contribute to the development of early warning systems for the control and prevention of HFRS in the Three Gorges Reservoir Region.
