Ultralight, highly compressible and fire-retardant graphene aerogel with self-adjustable electromagnetic wave absorption
Zicheng Wang,Zicheng Wang,Renbo Wei,Junwei Gu,Hu Liu,Hu Liu,Chuntai Liu,Chunjia Luo,Jie Kong,Qian Shao,Ning Wang,Zhanhu Guo,Xiaobo Liu +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D free-standing porous all-graphene aerogel with ultralight density and high compressibility is successfully fabricated through a mild in-situ self-assembly and thermal annealing processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Haze, public health and mitigation measures in China: A review of the current evidence for further policy response
Jinghong Gao,Alistair Woodward,Sotiris Vardoulakis,Sari Kovats,Paul Wilkinson,Liping Li,Lei Xu,Jing Li,Jing Li,Jun Yang,Lina Cao,Lina Cao,Xiaobo Liu,Haixia Wu,Qiyong Liu +14 more
TL;DR: The sources and formation of haze are described, the mitigation measures in force, the relationship between haze pollution and public health is reviewed, the potential policy options for prevention, the need for wider public dialogue and the implications for scientific research are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Processing and properties of MWNT/HDPE composites
TL;DR: In this paper, multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) composites were fabricated using the screw extrusion and injection technique, and the polymer-wrapped MWNTs were dispersed in fumed silicon dioxide with the help of ultrasonic stirring, and then further dispersed in a high density polyethylene (HDPE) matrix by a twin-screw extruder.
Journal ArticleDOI
Climate variation drives dengue dynamics
Lei Xu,Lei Xu,Leif Christian Stige,Kung-Sik Chan,Jie Zhou,Jun Yang,Shaowei Sang,Ming Wang,Zhicong Yang,Ziqiang Yan,Tong Jiang,Liang Lu,Yujuan Yue,Xiaobo Liu,Hualiang Lin,Jianguo Xu,Qiyong Liu,Qiyong Liu,Qiyong Liu,Nils Christian Stenseth +19 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that climate conditions, through the effects of rainfall and temperature on mosquito abundance and dengue transmission rate, play key roles in explaining the temporal dynamics of d Dengue incidence in the human population.
Journal ArticleDOI
Achieving high dielectric constant and low loss property in a dipolar glass polymer containing strongly dipolar and small-sized sulfone groups.
TL;DR: It is suggested that dipolar glass polymers with large dipole moments and small-sized dipolar side groups are promising candidates for high energy density and low loss dielectric applications.
