Journal ArticleDOI

Culicoids as vectors of Schmallenberg virus.

TL;DR: Evidence is presented that culicoids captured October 2011 in Denmark contained SBV RNA and most likely are vectors for this agent, which suggests the virus has replicated within the midges.

Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron VOC subvariants BA.1 and BA.2: Evidence from Danish Households

TL;DR: It is concluded that Omicron BA.2 is inherently substantially more transmissible than BA.1, and that it also possesses immune-evasive properties that further reduce the protective effect of vaccination against infection, but do not increase its transmissibility from vaccinated individuals with breakthrough infections.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiband modulation spectroscopy for the determination of sex and species of mosquitoes in flight.

TL;DR: It is concluded that multiband modulation spectroscopy is a useful expansion of the parameter space that can be used to improve the specificity of entomological lidars.
Journal ArticleDOI

Household transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant in Denmark

TL;DR: In this paper , the Omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant overtook the previously dominant Delta variant, but the extent to which this transition was driven by immune evasion or a change in the inherent transmissibility is currently unclear.
