Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of a peripheral blood transcriptional biomarker panel associated with operational renal allograft tolerance
Sophie Brouard,Elaine Mansfield,Christophe Braud,Li Li,Magali Giral,Szu-Chuan Hsieh,Dominique Baeten,Meixia Zhang,Joanna Ashton-Chess,Cécile Braudeau,Frank Hsieh,Alexandre Dupont,A. Pallier,Anne Moreau,Stéphanie Louis,Catherine Ruiz,Oscar Salvatierra,Jean-Paul Soulillou,Minnie M. Sarwal +18 more
TL;DR: This study identifies in the blood of kidney recipients a set of genes associated with operational tolerance that may have utility as a minimally invasive monitoring tool for guiding IS titration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Operationally tolerant and minimally immunosuppressed kidney recipients display strongly altered blood T-cell clonal regulation.
Sophie Brouard,Alexandre Dupont,Magali Giral,Stéphanie Louis,David Lair,Cécile Braudeau,Nicolas Degauque,Frédérique Moizant,Annaïck Pallier,Catherine Ruiz,Marina Guillet,David Laplaud,Jean-Paul Soulillou +12 more
TL;DR: Comparison of T‐cell selection in drug‐free operationally tolerant kidney recipients (or with minimal immunosuppression), recipients with stable graft function, chronic rejection and healthy individuals is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Blood T‐cell receptor β chain transcriptome in multiple sclerosis. Characterization of the T cells with altered CDR3 length distribution
David-Axel Laplaud,Catherine Ruiz,Sandrine Wiertlewski,Sophie Brouard,Laureline Berthelot,Marina Guillet,Benoît Melchior,Nicolas Degauque,Gilles Edan,Philippe Brachet,Philippe Damier,Jean-Paul Soulillou +11 more
TL;DR: The T-cell receptor usage of the variable beta (Vbeta) chain transcriptome in the blood of multiple sclerosis patients at various stages of the disease is analysed to support the concept of an early autoimmune component in the disease and emphasize the possible involvement of CD8-positive T cells in multiple sclerosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Serial blood T cell repertoire alterations in multiple sclerosis patients; correlation with clinical and MRI parameters
David-Axel Laplaud,Laureline Berthelot,Patrick Miqueu,Kasia Bourcier,Julien Moynard,Yannick Oudinet,Marina Guillet,Catherine Ruiz,Neal Oden,Sophie Brouard,Charles R.G. Guttmann,Howard L. Weiner,Samia J. Khoury,Jean-Paul Soulillou +13 more
TL;DR: An association between the magnitude of TCRBV CDR3 length distribution alterations in the peripheral blood of MS patients and the disease process is suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of the peripheral T-cell repertoire in kidney transplant patients
Patrick Miqueu,Nicolas Degauque,Marina Guillet,Magali Giral,Catherine Ruiz,Annaïck Pallier,Cécile Braudeau,Gwenaëlle Roussey-Kesler,Joanna Ashton-Chess,Jean-Christophe Doré,Eric Thervet,Christophe Legendre,Maria P. Hernandez-Fuentes,Anthony N. Warrens,Michel Goldman,Hans-Dieter Volk,Uwe Janssen,Kathryn J. Wood,Robert I. Lechler,Dominique Bertrand,Véronique Sébille,Jean-Paul Soulillou,Sophie Brouard +22 more
TL;DR: The power of a new statistical tool, used to analyze the peripheral blood TCR repertoire, for determining immunological differences in a group of 229 stable renal transplant patients undergoing immunosuppression, is investigated and suggests that T CR repertoire categorization might be included in the calculation of a composite score for the follow‐up of patients after kidney transplantation.
