Norbert Hilf, +76 more
- 10 Jan 2019 -
TL;DR: In a phase I trial, highly individualized peptide vaccines against unmutated tumour antigens and neoepitopes elicited sustained responses in CD8+ and CD4+ T cells, respectively, in patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma.

Integrated functional genomics approach for the design of patient-individual antitumor vaccines.

TL;DR: It is shown that by combining these two analytic tools, it is possible to propose several candidates for peptide-based immunotherapy and envision the use of this novel integrated functional genomics approach for the design of antitumor vaccines tailored to suit the needs of each patient.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cytomegalovirus infection: a driving force in human T cell immunosenescence.

TL;DR: Findings support the hypothesis that persistent herpesviruses, especially CMV, act as chronic antigenic stressors and play a major causative role in immunosenescence and associated mortality.
Journal ArticleDOI

More Than Just Tumor Destruction: Immunomodulation by Thermal Ablation of Cancer

TL;DR: Findings on immune modulation through radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, microwave ablation therapy, high-intensity focused ultrasound, and laser-induced thermotherapy are summarized.
