Evaluation of nine commercial SARS-CoV-2 immunoassays
Ria Lassaunière,Anders Frische,Zitta Barrella Harboe,Alex Christian Yde Nielsen,Anders Fomsgaard,Karen A. Krogfelt,Charlotte Sværke Jørgensen +6 more
TL;DR: This study evaluated the sensitivity and specificity of nine commercially available serological tests and found that three enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) and six point-of-care (POC) lateral flow tests showed 100% specificity.
Journal ArticleDOI
SARS-CoV-2 Transmission between Mink (Neovison vison) and Humans, Denmark.
Anne Sofie Hammer,Michelle Lauge Quaade,Thomas Bruun Rasmussen,Thomas Bruun Rasmussen,Jannik Fonager,Morten Rasmussen,Karin Mundbjerg,Louise Lohse,Bertel Strandbygaard,Charlotte Sværke Jørgensen,Alonzo Alfaro-Núñez,Maiken Worsøe Rosenstierne,Anette Boklund,Tariq Hisham Beshara Halasa,Anders Fomsgaard,Graham J. Belsham,Anette Bøtner,Anette Bøtner +17 more
TL;DR: Full-length virus genome sequencing revealed novel virus variants in mink that subsequently appeared within the local human community.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of 16 Serological SARS-CoV-2 Immunoassays in 16 Clinical Laboratories.

Nielsen,Henrik Ullum,Henrik Ullum,Henrik Ullum,Ram Benny Dessau +42 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated 15 commercial and one in-house anti-SARS-CoV-2 assays in 16 laboratories and achieved a specificity of ≥ 99% for all total-Ab and IgG assays except one, DiaSorin Liaison XL IgG (97.2%).
Journal ArticleDOI
SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Responses Are Correlated to Disease Severity in COVID-19 Convalescent Individuals.
Cecilie Bo Hansen,Ida Jarlhelt,Laura Pérez-Alós,Lone H. Landsy,Mette Loftager,Anne Rosbjerg,Charlotte Helgstrand,Jais Rose Bjelke,Thomas Egebjerg,Joseph G. Jardine,Charlotte Sværke Jørgensen,Kasper Iversen,Rafael Bayarri-Olmos,Peter Garred,Mikkel-Ole Skjoedt +14 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the IgM, A, and G Ab responses against receptor-binding domain are significantly correlated to the disease severity, and these assays and the data generated from them are highly relevant for diagnostics and prognostics and contribute to the understanding of long-term COVID-19 immunity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Non-specific binding in solid phase immunoassays for autoantibodies correlates with inflammation markers.
Esin Güven,Karen Duus,Magnus Christian Lydolph,Charlotte Sværke Jørgensen,Inga Laursen,Gunnar Houen +5 more
TL;DR: It is proposed that non-specific binding may be interpreted as an informative finding indicative of elevated IgG and inflammation, and shown that the level of non- specific binding correlates with the IgG concentration and therefore is shown to be indicative of inflammation.
