Journal ArticleDOI

Spin and Orbital Magnetic Quadrupole Resonances in C 48 a and Z 90 r from 180 ° Electron Scattering

TL;DR: In this article, high-resolution inelastic electron scattering for momentum transfer was investigated in both nuclei up to excitation energies of about 15 MeV, and second-random-phase approximation calculations successfully describe the strong fragmentation of the experimental strength distributions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isovector M1 transitions in 28Si and the role of meson exchange currents.

TL;DR: Overall agreement with a shell-model calculation using the unified {ital sd}-shell interaction and effective factors is obtained and the presence of meson exchange current contributions of the order of 25{percent} to the summed {ital M}1 transition strength is revealed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cross sections and beam asymmetry for K+Σ*- photoproduction from the deuteron at Eγ=1.5-2.4GeV

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the first measurement of cross sections and beam asymmetries for photoproduction of the ε-Sigma(1385) resonance from a deuteron target.
