First-principles calculation of NMR parameters using the gauge including projector augmented wave method:a chemist's point of view
Christian Bonhomme,Christel Gervais,Florence Babonneau,Cristina Coelho,Frédérique Pourpoint,Thierry Azaïs,Sharon E. Ashbrook,John M. Griffin,Jonathan R. Yates,Francesco Mauri,Chris J. Pickard +10 more
TL;DR: Including Projector Augmented Wave Method: A Chemist’s Point of View is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly Porous Polyhedral Silsesquioxane Polymers. Synthesis and Characterization
Chunxin Zhang,Florence Babonneau,Christian Bonhomme,Richard M. Laine,Christopher L. Soles,H. A. Hristov,Albert F. Yee +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, polyhedral octahydridosilsesquioxanes were copolymerized with stoichiometric amounts of octavinylsilssioxanes, [vinylSiO1.5]8 (2) and [(vinylMe2O)SiO 1.5]-8 (3) in toluene using platinum divinyltetramethyldisiloxane, “Pt(dvs)”, as catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnesium incorporation into hydroxyapatite
Danielle Laurencin,Neyvis Almora-Barrios,Nora H. de Leeuw,Christel Gervais,Christian Bonhomme,Francesco Mauri,Wojciech Chrzanowski,Jonathan C. Knowles,Jonathan C. Knowles,Robert J. Newport,Alan Wong,Zhehong Gan,Mark E. Smith +12 more
TL;DR: The incorporation of Mg in hydroxyapatite (HA) was investigated using multinuclear solid state NMR, X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and computational modeling, finding that the environment of the anions is disordered in this substituted apatite phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined first-principles computational and experimental multinuclear solid-state NMR investigation of amino acids.
Christel Gervais,Ray Dupree,Kevin J. Pike,Christian Bonhomme,Mickael Profeta,Chris J. Pickard,Francesco Mauri +6 more
TL;DR: Calculations using the two experimental structures for L-alanine have shown that, while the calculated isotropic chemical shift values of 13C and 15N are relatively insensitive to small differences in the experimental structure, the 17O shift is markedly affected.
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective protein adsorption property and characterization of nano-crystalline zinc-containing hydroxyapatite
Eiji Fujii,Mizuki Ohkubo,Kanji Tsuru,Satoshi Hayakawa,Akiyoshi Osaka,Koji Kawabata,Christian Bonhomme,Florence Babonneau +7 more
TL;DR: Nano-crystalline Zn-containing hydroxyapatite (ZnHAp) was prepared by the wet-chemical method and the selective adsorption of essential proteins was examined, taking bovine serum albumin and pathogenic protein such as beta(2)-microglobulin (beta( 2)-MG) as model proteins.
