Journal ArticleDOI
Reproducible quantification of cancer-associated proteins in body fluids using targeted proteomics
Ruth Hüttenhain,Martin Soste,Nathalie Selevsek,Hannes L. Röst,Hannes L. Röst,Atul Sethi,Atul Sethi,Christine Carapito,Terry Farrah,Eric W. Deutsch,Ulrike Kusebauch,Robert L. Moritz,Emma Niméus-Malmström,Oliver Rinner,Ruedi Aebersold,Ruedi Aebersold +15 more
TL;DR: A high-throughput method for the development and refinement of selected reaction monitoring (SRM) assays for human proteins is described and it is demonstrated that these SRM assays allow reproducible quantification by monitoring 34 biomarker candidates across 83 patient plasma samples.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diversity of the exoproteome of Fusarium graminearum grown on plant cell wall
Vincent Phalip,François Delalande,Christine Carapito,Florence Goubet,Didier Hatsch,Emmanuelle Leize-Wagner,Paul Dupree,Alain Van Dorsselaer,Jean-Marc Jeltsch +8 more
TL;DR: Cellobiohydrolase is one of the only four proteins found both after growth on glucose and on plant cell wall and it is proposed that this enzyme could act as a sensor of the extracellular environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Studying the Fate of Tumor Extracellular Vesicles at High Spatiotemporal Resolution Using the Zebrafish Embryo
Vincent Hyenne,Shima Ghoroghi,Shima Ghoroghi,Mayeul Collot,Joanna Bons,Gautier Follain,Gautier Follain,Sébastien Harlepp,Sébastien Harlepp,Benjamin Mary,Benjamin Mary,Jack Bauer,Jack Bauer,Luc Mercier,Luc Mercier,Ignacio Busnelli,Ignacio Busnelli,Olivier Lefebvre,Olivier Lefebvre,Nina Fekonja,Nina Fekonja,Maria Jesus Garcia-Leon,Maria Jesus Garcia-Leon,Pedro Machado,François Delalande,Ana Amor López,Susana Garcia Silva,Frederik J. Verweij,Frederik J. Verweij,Guillaume van Niel,Guillaume van Niel,Farida Djouad,Héctor Peinado,Christine Carapito,Andrey S. Klymchenko,Jacky G. Goetz,Jacky G. Goetz +36 more
TL;DR: This study proves the usefulness and prospects of zebrafish embryo to track tumor EVs and dissect their role in metastatic niches formation in vivo and demonstrates that tumor EVs activate macrophages and promote metastatic outgrowth.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ortho-proteogenomics: multiple proteomes investigation through orthology and a new MS-based protocol.
Sebastien Gallien,Emmanuel Perrodou,Christine Carapito,Caroline Deshayes,Jean-Marc Reyrat,Alain Van Dorsselaer,Olivier Poch,Christine Schaeffer,Odile Lecompte +8 more
TL;DR: A new "ortho-proteogenomic" approach is presented here for the annotation refinement of multiple genomes at once that combines comparative genomics with an original proteomic protocol that allows the characterization of both N-terminal and internal peptides in a single experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI
N-terminome analysis of the human mitochondrial proteome.
Alvaro Sebastian Vaca Jacome,Alvaro Sebastian Vaca Jacome,Thierry Rabilloud,Christine Schaeffer-Reiss,Christine Schaeffer-Reiss,Magali Rompais,Magali Rompais,Daniel Ayoub,Daniel Ayoub,Lydie Lane,Lydie Lane,Amos Marc Bairoch,Amos Marc Bairoch,Alain Van Dorsselaer,Alain Van Dorsselaer,Christine Carapito,Christine Carapito +16 more
TL;DR: The present study describes the free N‐terminome analysis of human mitochondria‐enriched samples using trimethoxyphenyl phosphonium (TMPP) labelling approaches to increase the knowledge of processing mechanisms and consequently also enhance cleavage sites prediction algorithms.
