Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of thermal treatment on feldspar sorptive properties: Identification of uptake mechanisms

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of this heating on the efficiency of cadmium removal from aqueous solutions by immersing these two feldspars into these solutions is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A streamtube non-isothermal spouted-bed reactor mathematical model

TL;DR: In this paper, a spouted bed reactor non-isothermal modelling is developed, in which the sport, the fountain, and the annulus region are taken into account, and flow pattern is based on the streamtube formulation with a special approach for flat-bottomed reactors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulation of heavy metal vaporization dynamics in a fluidized bed

TL;DR: In this article, the authors validate a two-dimensional Eulerian-Lagrangian simulation of heavy metal vaporization in a fluidized bed, which is performed by combining a heavy metal vapourization model and a Lagrangian model developed for bubbling fluidized beds, coupled by including the heavy metal transport equation in the gas flow.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bounding the outcome of a two-photon interference measurement using weak coherent states.

TL;DR: In this paper, a two-photon interference experiment using phase-randomized weak coherent states with different mean photon numbers was performed and a tight upper bound on the expected coincidences for the case when the incident wavepackets contain single photons, allowing us to observe the Hong-Ou-Mandel effect.
