TL;DR: A homogeneous X-rays analysis of all 318 gamma-ray bursts detected by the X-ray telescope (XRT) on the Swift satellite up to 2008 July 23 is presented; this represents the largest sample ofX-ray GRB data published to date.
Journal ArticleDOI

O'Brien,J. P. Osborne,P. Romano,Gianpiero Tagliaferri,Alan A. Wells +29 more
TL;DR: In this article, the early X-ray afterglows of the first 27 gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) well observed by the Swift X-Ray Telescope (XRT).
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this article, the early X-ray emission for a sample of 40 gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) obtained using the Swift satellite, for which the narrow-field instruments were pointed at the burst within 10 minutes of the trigger.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Chandra Deep Field North Survey. V. 1 Ms Source Catalogs

TL;DR: An extremely deep X-ray survey of the Hubble Deep Field North (HDF-N) and its environs (≈450 arcmin2) has been performed with the Advanced CCD Imaging Spectrometer on board the Chandra X-Ray Observatory.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nucleosynthesis and Mixing in Cassiopeia A.
TL;DR: The first unequivocal identification of iron-rich ejecta produced by explosive silicon burning in a young Galactic SNR is made, indicating that bulk motions were extensive and energetic enough in Cas A to cause a spatial inversion of a significant portion of the supernova core.
