Journal ArticleDOI

Estimated protection against COVID-19 based on predicted neutralisation titres from multiple antibody measurements in a longitudinal cohort, France, April 2020 to November 2021

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors developed a method that predicts virus neutralization and disease protection based on variant-specific antibody measurements to SARS-CoV-2 antigens, and inferred protection estimates to symptomatic and severe COVID-19 using previously described relationships between neutralisation titres and protection estimates.
Book ChapterDOI

Flow Cytometry Sorting of Memory CCR6+CD4+ T-Cells for HIV Reservoir Quantification.

TL;DR: A step-by-step flow cytometry-based protocol to isolate a fraction of Th17-enriched cells from PBMC based on their expression of the Th17 surface marker CCR6 allows subsequent PCR/RT-PCR-based HIV DNA/RNA quantifications, as well as their culture for quantitative viral outgrowth assays (QVOA).

Modelling the association between neutralizing antibody levels and SARS-CoV-2 viral dynamics : implications to define correlates of protection against infection

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed the kinetics of both viral load and neutralizing antibody levels in a prospective cohort of individuals during acute infection by Alpha variant and showed that the progressive increase in neutralizing antibodies leads to a shortening of the half-life of both infected cells and infectious viral particles.
