A murine model of peanut anaphylaxis: T- and B-cell responses to a major peanut allergen mimic human responses

TL;DR: This murine model of IgE-mediated peanut hypersensitivity mimics the clinical and immunologic characteristics of peanut allergy in human subjects and should be a useful tool for developing immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of peanut allergies.
Journal ArticleDOI

CpG Oligodeoxynucleotides Can Reverse Th2-Associated Allergic Airway Responses and Alter the B7.1/B7.2 Expression in a Murine Model of Asthma

TL;DR: The results suggest that CpG-ODN may have potential for treatment of allergic asthma by suppressing Th2 responses during IgE-dependent allergic airway reactions, and the down-regulation of Th1 responses by CPG- ODN may be associated with regulation of the costimulatory factors B7.1 and B 7.2.
