TL;DR: In this paper, a set of biological (HDL, LDL, SGOT, SGPT, GGT, HTc, Hb and T levels) and psychometric variables (investigated through HAM-D, HAM-A, GAS, Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale, Mark & Mathews Scale, Leyton scale, and Pilowski scale) were assessed in a sample of 64 alcohol dependent patients, at baseline and after a detoxification treatment.

The nuclear import of the transcription factor MyoD is reduced in mesenchymal stem cells grown in a 3D micro-engineered niche.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that in mesenchymal stem cells grown inside a 3D synthetic niche, both nuclear transport of a myogenic factor and passive nuclear diffusion of a smaller inert protein are reduced.
