Journal ArticleDOI
The impact of molecular weight, air exposure and molecular doping on the charge transport properties and electronic defects in dithienyl-diketopyrrolopyrrole-thieno[3,2-b]thiophene copolymers
Riccardo Di Pietro,Tim Erdmann,Tim Erdmann,Naixiang Wang,Xuhai Liu,David Gräfe,David Gräfe,Johannes Lenz,Josef Brandt,Daniel Kasemann,Karl Leo,Mahmoud Al-Hussein,Kirill L. Gerasimov,David Doblas,Dimitri A. Ivanov,Dimitri A. Ivanov,Brigitte Voit,Brigitte Voit,Dieter Neher,Anton Kiriy,Anton Kiriy +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed an in-depth study of high molecular weight poly[3,6-(dithiophene-2-yl)-2,5-di(2-octyldodecyl)-pyrrolo [3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4dione-alt-thieno[ 3,2-b]thiophene] P(DPP2OD-TT) synthesized through the Stille coupling polycondensation in order to understand the correlation between molecular weight, processing conditions and charge transport
Journal ArticleDOI
Donor–acceptor substituted polyenes: Orientation in mono‐ and multilayers
Franz Effenberger,Claus-Peter Niesert,Lukas Häußling,Helmut Ringsdorf,Christoph Bubeck,Dieter Neher +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, an intramolecular electron transfer within donor-acceptor substituted polyenes can be achieved by introducing suitable terminal groups, and the terminal groups are used to obtain the electron transfer.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Time-resolved microwave measurements of the polarizability of photoexcitons on conjugated polymer chains
John M. Warman,Gerwin H. Gelinck,Jacob J. Piet,John W.A. Suykerbuyk,Matthijs P. de Haas,B.M.W. Langeveld-Voss,René A. J. Janssen,Do-Hoon Hwang,Andrew B. Holmes,Marcus Remmers,Dieter Neher,Klaus Muellen,Peter Bauerle +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of flash photoexcitation of dilute solutions of conjugated oligomers and polymers can be measured with nanosecond time resolution using the time-resolved microwave conductivity technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
New polymer matrix system for phosphorescent organic light‐emitting diodes and the role of the small molecular co‐host
Beatrice Ch. D. Salert,Hartmut Krueger,Sergey A. Bagnich,Thomas Unger,Frank Jaiser,Mahmoud Al-Sa'di,Dieter Neher,Anna Hayer,Thomas Eberle +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new matrix system for phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on an electron transporting component attached to an inert polymer backbone, an electroni-cally neutral co-host, and a phosphorescent dye that serves as both emitter and hole conductor is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inverted organic solar cells comprising low-temperature-processed ZnO films
TL;DR: Inverted organic solar cells are fabricated using low-temperature-annealed ZnO film as an electron transport layer as discussed by the authors, which shows a high power conversion efficiency of 4.03%.
