Systemic antibiotics in the treatment of periodontitis
TL;DR: Aggressive periodontitis patients have more benefits from nonsurgical therapy together with systemic antibiotics comparing to nonsurgical treatment alone, and systemic antimicrobial therapy in periodontal treatment may provide benefits as an adjunct to mechanicalperiodontal debridement.
