Sewerage treatment method by using precoated dynamic membrane to filter mixed liquor of activated sludge

Abstract: The characteristics are: industrial filter cloth is used to make filter component, precoat method is used to form a dynamic film on surface of the industrial filter cloth to improve filter performance. The precoating dynamic film component is fixed on frmae in biologic reactor, water flows out by action of sorption pump. The dynamic film has absorbing and intercepting action to pollution substances, and can prevent that pollution substances and microbe spreading to the surface an interior of filte cloth fibre, precoating agent particle has large particle size, so the dynamic film formed by it has high porosity, small compressibility and strong liquid phase permeability, thus to delay the enhancement of operation pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly effective permeability and antifouling performances of polypropylene non-woven fabric membranes modified with graphene oxide by inkjet printing and immersion coating methods.

TL;DR: The results demonstrated that there was almost no decrease in permeation after ultrasonic treatment indicating that the cross-linking treatment could enhance the immobilization of the GO nanosheets on and into the modified membranes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of cathodic nitrate reduction driven by electricity generated from ANAMMOX sludge in anode

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used ANAMMOX sludge as anode microbial catalysts to drive electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate in the SnCu-Pd/CFC catalytic cathode with total nitrogen (TN) removal efficiency of ANAM MOX as well as generate electricity without additional carbon and energy source.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ambient temperatures associated with increased risk of motor vehicle crashes in New York and Chicago.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors quantify the linkage between ambient temperature exposure and the MVC risk of the driver in four cities of the United States and find both a cold and a hot effect on MVC in New York, and a cold effect on mVC in Chicago.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new folded plate membrane module for hydrodynamic characteristics improvement and flux enhancement

TL;DR: In this article, a new folded plate membrane module (FPMM) was designed by modifying the configuration of conventional flat sheet membrane module, and the hydrodynamic characteristics near the fold plate membrane surface, and its filtration performance in different operating conditions were studied.
