Operational optimization of air conditioning cooling water system with UF―RO desalination

TL;DR: In this article, a comparative cost analysis between applying UF-RO treatment and adding chemical inhibitors in cooling water system was carried out, and it was concluded that applying Uf-RO in air conditioning circulating cooling water systems is more economical.

Intensified anti-nitrated phosphorous-removal sequencing batch membrane bioreactor technique

TL;DR: In this article, a sequence batch type film bioreactor craft was used to reinforce denitrification dephosphorize in sewage disposal and middle water reclaimed technical domain of environmental engineering.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prussian blue/graphene-modified electrode used as a novel oxygen reduction cathode in microbial fuel cell

TL;DR: In this article, the Prussian blue/graphene (PB/GE) nanocomposite and PB were deposited on the surface of active carbon particles, and the resulted particles were placed in two microbial fuel cells (MFC) as the three-dimensional cathode electrodes for oxygen reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

The use of PLS algorithms and quantum chemical parameters derived from PM3 hamiltonian in QSPR studies on direct photolysis quantum yields of substituted aromatic halides.

TL;DR: The Partial Least-Squares method was used to further study Quantitative Structure-Property Relationship (QSPR) for photohydrolysis quantum yields of selected aromatic halides and showed that only when the compounds belonging to different groups are studies separately, inherent relationships between molecular properties and their structure characteristics can be revealed.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of polypyrrole-bound anthraquinonedisulphonate dianion on cathodic reduction of oxygen

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrocatalytic ability of the pyrrole-bound AQDS modified electrode was demonstrated by the electroreduction of oxygen at the optimized pH of 6.3 in a phosphate buffer.
