Soil salinity reduction by river water irrigation in a reed field: A case study in Shuangtai Estuary Wetland, Northeast China
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the effect of irrigation by conducting comprehensive field observations and numerical simulations, and the necessary irrigation water volume was determined by determining the relation between surface soil salinity and reed yield, vertical profile of soil saliency before and after the irrigation period, and variation of depth and salinity of the standing water during irrigation and the rate of rainwater interception by reed leaves.

A bio-electrochemical membrane system for more sustainable wastewater treatment with MnO 2/PANI modified stainless steel cathode and photosynthetic provision of dissolved oxygen by algae
