Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancement of tumor necrosis factor alpha antitumor immunotherapeutic properties by targeted delivery to aminopeptidase N (CD13).

TL;DR: Results suggest that targeted delivery of TNF to CD13 may enhance its immunotherapeutic properties, and reveal the potential of tumor homing peptides to generate a new class of recombinant cytokines that compared to immunocytokines have a simpler structure, could be easier to produce and are potentially less immunogenic.
Journal ArticleDOI

Advances in membranous vesicle and exosome proteomics improving biological understanding and biomarker discovery

TL;DR: An overview of technical and analytical issues in exosome proteomics is offered, and the significance of proteomic studies in terms of biological and clinical usefulness is highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hypocaloric high-protein diet improves glucose oxidation and spares lean body mass: Comparison to hypocaloric high-carbohydrate diet

TL;DR: In conclusion, the experience suggests that a hypocaloric diet providing a high percentage of natural protein can improve insulin sensitivity; and conversely, a Hypocaloric high-polysaccharide-CHO diet decreases insulin sensitivity and is unable to spare muscle tissue.
Journal ArticleDOI

Implementation of proteomic biomarkers: making it work

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose an implementation roadmap for proteomic biomarkers, focusing on hurdles downstream of biomarker verification, and describe major obstacles and possible solutions to ease valid biomarker implementation.
