Matthias Götberg,Evald Høj Christiansen,Ingibjorg J. Gudmundsdottir,Lennart Sandhall,Mikael Danielewicz,Lars Jakobsen,Sven-Erik Olsson,Patrik Öhagen,Hans Olsson,Elmir Omerovic,Fredrik Calais,Pontus Lindroos,Michael Maeng,Tim Tödt,Dimitrios Venetsanos,Stefan James,Amra Kåregren,Margareta Nilsson,Jörg Carlsson,Dario Hauer,Jens Jensen,Ann-Charlotte Karlsson,Georgios Panayi,David Erlinge,Ole Fröbert +24 more
TL;DR: Among patients with stable angina or an acute coronary syndrome, an iFR‐ guided revascularization strategy was noninferior to an FFR‐guided revascularized strategy with respect to the rate of major adverse cardiac events at 12 months.
Journal ArticleDOI
Safety of the Deferral of Coronary Revascularization on the Basis of Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio and Fractional Flow Reserve Measurements in Stable Coronary Artery Disease and Acute Coronary Syndromes.

TL;DR: Overall, deferral of revascularization is equally safe with both iFR and FFR, with a low MACE rate of about 4%.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term efficacy of drug coated balloons compared with new generation drug-eluting stents for the treatment of de novo coronary artery lesions
Dimitrios Venetsanos,Sofia Sederholm Lawesson,Georgios Panayi,Tim Tödt,Ulf Berglund,Eva Swahn,Joakim Alfredsson +6 more
TL;DR: Studies comparing drug coated balloons (DCB) with new generation drug‐eluting stents (nDES) for the treatment of de novo coronary artery lesions are lacking.
Journal ArticleDOI
Computed tomography coronary angiography in patients with acute myocardial infarction and normal invasive coronary angiography
Georgios Panayi,Wouter G. Wieringa,Joakim Alfredsson,Jörg Carlsson,Jan-Erik Karlsson,Anders Persson,Jan Engvall,Gabija Pundziute,Eva Swahn +8 more
TL;DR: Despite a diagnosis of AMI, 80 % of patients with normal ICA showed no coronary plaques on CTCA, and patients fulfilling clinical criteria for AMI but with completelynormal ICA need further evaluation, suggestively with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
