Journal ArticleDOI

A Factorial-based Dynamic Analysis Method for Reservoir Operation Under Fuzzy-stochastic Uncertainties

TL;DR: The developed FFS-DP method can help the local authority identify desired water release policies under uncertain system conditions and indicates that significant factors and their interactions can be identified in ROM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulation-Based Inexact Rough-Interval Programming for Agricultural Irrigation Management: A Case Study in the Yongxin County, China

TL;DR: A simulation-based inexact rough-interval programming approach is proposed for agricultural irrigation management in a China’s rural region, presenting capability in interpreting implication of various water-supply means on agricultural water-allocation plans, as well as handling highly-uncertain parameters existing in many real-world practices.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual-Interval Two-Stage Optimization for Flood Management and Risk Analyses

TL;DR: A dual interval two-stage restricted-recourse programming (DITRP) method is developed for flood-diversion planning under uncertainty by addressing system uncertainties with complex presentations and incorporating subjective information within its optimization framework.
Journal Article

Application of Bayesian regularized BP neural network model for analysis of aquatic ecological data-a case study of chlorophyll-a prediction in Nanzui water area of Dongting Lake.

TL;DR: This study laid the foundation for the application of BRBPNN model in the analysis of aquatic ecological data (chlorophyll-a prediction) and the explanation about the effective eutrophication treatment measures for Nanzui water area in Dongting Lake.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inexact joint-probabilistic stochastic programming for water resources management under uncertainty

TL;DR: The developed ITIP-JPC is applied to a case study of water resources allocation within a multi-stream, multi-reservoir and multi-user context, where joint probabilities exist in both water availabilities and storage capacities and results indicate that reasonable solutions have been generated for both binary and continuous variables.
