Regional agricultural water resources management with respect to fuzzy return and energy constraint under uncertainty: An integrated optimization approach.

TL;DR: In this paper, an integrated framework is proposed for agricultural water and land resources management under uncertain circumstances and energy-water nexus, which has two components: the optimized interval solutions generation of unknown market quotation and environment situation through the interval fuzzy-expectation programming, and the post-optimization decision-making of the tradeoff between system risk and return through risk-explicit interval programming.
Journal ArticleDOI

Seasonal ionic exchange in two-layer canopies and total deposition in a subtropical evergreen mixed forest in central-south China

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors found that 15 and 9% of rainfall were intercepted by the top and sub-canopy layer, respectively, and that seasonal base cations concentrations in the sub-throughfall were higher than those in throughfall.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observed regional climatic changes over Ontario, Canada, in response to global warming

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the regional climate of Ontario, Canada, and its temporal trends in the past century based on the historical observations at the gauged stations, aiming to investigate how the local climate has been affected by human-induced global warming, which is of great concern for decision makers and resource managers to develop scientifically informed policies and strategies against the changing climate.
Journal ArticleDOI

A stochastic rough-approximation water management model for supporting sustainable water-environment strategies in an irrigation district of arid region

TL;DR: In this article, a stochastic rough-approximation water management model (SRAWM) associated with optimistic and pessimistic options is proposed for supporting regional sustainability in an irrigation system (IS) of an arid region with uncertain information.
Journal ArticleDOI

Removal of copper, zinc and cadmium ions through adsorption on water-quenched blast furnace slag

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of the adsorbent dosage, pH, initial concentration of heavy metal ions, temperature, and contact time on the removal of Cu2+, Cd2+, and Zn2+.
