An uncertainty partition approach for inferring interactive hydrologic risks
TL;DR: A full-subsampling factorial copula (FSFC) approach is proposed to quantify parameter uncertainties and further reveal their contributions to predictive uncertainties in risk inferences, suggesting that uncertainties inrisk inferences would mainly be attributed to some parameters of the marginal distributions while the parameter of dependence structure would not produce noticeable effects.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Optimization of Energy Systems under Changing Policies of Greenhouse-gas Emission Control—A Study for the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada
TL;DR: In this paper, the impacts of the Kyoto target on Saskatchewan's energy system are analyzed; the least-cost strategies for dealing with greenhouse gas-emission reduction in a long-term horizon are developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
A mitigation simulation method for urban NOx emissions based on input-output analysis
TL;DR: In this article, a NOx mitigation simulation (NMS) model is developed to facilitate the development of mitigation policies, and the changes of sectoral and system-wide indirect emissions are accounted for under the framework of urban metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI
CCEM: A City-cluster Energy Systems Planning Model
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a City-cluster Energy Systems Planning Model (CCEM) and applied it to the Toronto-Niagara Region (TNR) as a case study.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exploration of nanocellulose washing agent for the green remediation of phenanthrene-contaminated soil.
TL;DR: Using nanocellulose (CNC) fluid as an eco-friendly agent was proposed for the first time in the remediation of phenanthrene (PHE) contaminated soil and showed a detoxification effect of CNC nanofluid on PHE contaminants in soil.
