Inexact stochastic risk-aversion optimal day-ahead dispatch model for electricity system management with wind power under uncertainty

TL;DR: By integrating interval two-stage programming and stochastic robust programming, a novel robust model for day-ahead dispatch and risk-aversion management under uncertainties is proposed in this paper, where the uncertainties are expressed as interval values with different scenario probability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Incorporating Climate Change into Risk Assessment Using Grey Mathematical Programming

TL;DR: In this paper, grey mathematical programming is used for risk assessment in a hop, skip and jump formulation of a hop-and-jump formulation of an agricultural expansion in the Mackenzie River Basin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Feasibility-based inexact fuzzy programming for electric power generation systems planning under dual uncertainties

TL;DR: In this paper, a feasibility based inexact fuzzy programming approach (FBIFP) was developed and applied to the planning of a regional electric power generation system (REPGS), as an extension of existing interval linear programming and fuzzy linear programming, FBIFP could tackle uncertainties expressed as intervals, fuzzy sets and their combination in both of the objective function and constraints.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gemini micellar enhanced ultrafiltration (GMEUF) process for the treatment of phenol wastewater

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects on the retention (phenol and surfactant), permeate flux and secondary resistance of various factors in the practical application of GMEUF were investigated including feed CG concentration, mole fraction of nonionic surfactants, electrolyte concentration and temperature, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

A copula-based fuzzy interval-random programming approach for planning water-energy nexus system under uncertainty

TL;DR: A copula-based fuzzy interval-random programming method is proposed through integration of copul-based random programming, interval-parameter programming and fuzzy possibilistic programming that can both handle random, interval and fuzzy information and reflect system joint-risk existing in the water-energy nexus system of Henan Province, China.
