Amphiphilic Poly[bis(trifluoroethoxy)phosphazene]−Poly(ethylene oxide) Block Copolymers: Synthesis and Micellar Characteristics

TL;DR: The micellar characteristics of the amphiphilic diblock copolymers based on a hydrophobic polyphosphazene (PN) and hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) were investigated by using fluorescence techniques, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phosphorylation of phosphazenes and its effects on thermal properties and fire retardant behavior

TL;DR: In this paper, the incorporation of phosphate and phosphonate units into the side groups of phosphazenes, at both the high polymeric and cyclic trimer levels, is described and evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Miscibility of bioerodible polyphosphazene/poly(lactide-co-glycolide) blends.

TL;DR: The present study demonstrated the feasibility of blending bioerodible polyphosphazenes with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) to form versatile polymeric materials with altered bioerosion properties and the effective neutralization of the acidic degradation products of PLGA by the polyph phosphate hydrolysis products.
