Talking suicide on Twitter: Linguistic style and language processes of suicide-related posts

TL;DR: In this article, the linguistic features of suicide-related tweets were used to predict suicide risk in Twitter users and the final model which distinguished “strongly concerning” suicide risk from the controls was found to have 97.7% sensitivity and 99.8% specificity.

Rates and Predictors of Deterioration in a Trial of Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Reducing Suicidal Thoughts

TL;DR: Participation in an online suicide prevention intervention was associated with lower prevalence of reliable deterioration than participation in an attention-control intervention, providing further evidence that internet-based CBT interventions do not cause harm.
