Synthesis of novel spiro imidazolium salts as chiral ionic liquids
Mahesh L. Patil,C. V. Laxman Rao,Shinobu Takizawa,Kazuhiro Takenaka,Kiyotaka Onitsuka,Hiroaki Sasai +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a library of 13 chiral spiro imidazolium (SIL) salts has been synthesized and the effects of N-substituents and counteranions on the melting point of SIL have been studied in efforts toward the development of room temperature chiral ionic liquids.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chiral vanadium complex-catalyzed oxidative coupling of arenols
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the development of chiral vanadium complex-catalyzed oxidative couplings of phenols such as polycyclic phenols, hydroxycarbazoles, resorcinol, and sesamol derivatives.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemo- and enantioselective hetero-coupling of hydroxycarbazoles catalyzed by a chiral vanadium(V) complex
Makoto Sako,Keigo Higashida,Ganesh Tatya Kamble,Kevin Kaut,Kevin Kaut,Ankit Kumar,Yuka Hirose,Yuka Hirose,Da-Yang Zhou,Takeyuki Suzuki,Magnus Rueping,Magnus Rueping,Tomohiro Maegawa,Shinobu Takizawa,Hiroaki Sasai +14 more
TL;DR: The catalytic enantioselective oxidative hetero-coupling of arenols using a chiral vanadium(V) complex has been developed in this paper, where the reaction took place under mild conditions and exhibited satisfactory functional group tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthetic studies towards phorbols : synthesis of B or C ring substituted phorbol skeletons in the naturally occurring form
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric Cyclizative Dimerization of (ortho‐Alkynyl Phenyl) (Methoxymethyl) Sulfides with Palladium(II) Bisoxazoline Catalyst
Cheng Peng,Taichi Kusakabe,Shoko Kikkawa,Tomoyuki Mochida,Isao Azumaya,Yogesh Daulat Dhage,Keisuke Takahashi,Hiroaki Sasai,Keisuke Kato +8 more
TL;DR: The first example of an asymmetric cyclization-dimerization of (ortho-alkynyl phenyl) (methoxymethyl) sulfides with a palladium(II) bisoxazoline (box) catalyst has been developed and the characteristic properties of the box ligand were supported by density functional theory (DFT) calculations of the intermediate.
