Journal ArticleDOI

Toward an Effective Control of the H2 to CO Ratio of Syngas through CO2 Electroreduction over Immobilized Gold Nanoparticles on Layered Titanate Nanosheets

TL;DR: In this paper, a promising electrocatalyst incorporating well-dispersed gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) on ultrathin titanate nanosheets (TiNS) was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anionic clay as the drug delivery vehicle: tumor targeting function of layered double hydroxide-methotrexate nanohybrid in C33A orthotopic cervical cancer model

TL;DR: Methotrexate (MTX), an anticancer agent, was successfully intercalated into the anionic clay, layered double hydroxides to form a new nanohybrid drug that showed excellent colloidal stability not only in deionized water but also in an electrolyte solution of Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle's Medium with 10% fetal bovine serum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inorganic-inorganic nanohybrids for drug delivery, imaging and photo-therapy: recent developments and future scope.

TL;DR: Recent developments in inorganic–inorganic nanohybrids, and their applications in bio-imaging, drug delivery, and photo-therapy are highlighted and their future scope is discussed in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superior role of MXene nanosheet as hybridization matrix over graphene in enhancing interfacial electronic coupling and functionalities of metal oxide

TL;DR: In this article, a comparative investigation on uniformly-stacked MnO2-Ti3C2 and rGO-reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanohybrids was conducted, and it was shown that exfoliated MXene nanosheet can act as a superior hybridization matrix over rGO to explore strongly-coupled nanosybrids with improved energy-related functionality.
Journal ArticleDOI

TiO2-pillared clays with well-ordered porous structure and excellent photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: In this article, a TiO2-pillared mica with well-ordered porous structures is successfully prepared via incorporating TiO 2 nanosol particles into the clays, where empty octahedral sites are partially modified with divalent metal ions such as Mg2+ and Fe2+.
