Neuroinflammation in Huntington's Disease: New Insights with 11C-PBR28 PET/MRI.
Cristina Lois,Cristina Lois,Ivan Gonzalez,David Izquierdo-Garcia,Nicole R. Zürcher,Paul Wilkens,Marco L. Loggia,Jacob M. Hooker,H. Diana Rosas +8 more
TL;DR: PET/MR imaging using 11C-PBR28 provides a high signal-to-background ratio and has the potential to be used to assess Huntington's disease progression, and the main result is an objective score that correlates well with measurements of brain atrophy.
Journal ArticleDOI
PET imaging of tau protein targets: a methodology perspective.
TL;DR: The challenges associated with tau tracer development, the status of development and validation of different tAU tracers, and the clinical information these provide are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of β-amyloid protein on serotoninergic, noradrenergic, and cholinergic markers in neurons of the pontomesencephalic tegmentum in the rat
TL;DR: Three different neurochemically defined populations of neurons in the pontomesencephalic tegmentum are affected by the neurotoxicity of Abeta in vivo and that Abeta might indirectly affect serotoninergic, noradrenergic and cholinergic innervation in the retrosplenial cortex.
