Sheridan,Kimmo Teinilä,Thomas Tuch,Mar Viana,A. Virkkula,Ernest Weingartner,R. Wilhelm,Yang Wang +38 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compare the performance of different types of absorption photometers for real-time application and find that the response to absorbing aerosol particles is a function of the total particle load on the filter.
Posted ContentDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the results of a study on the effects of air pollution on the performance of the Global Monitoring Division of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and the National Institute of Environmental Studies (NILU).

TL;DR: Harmonized data records from 11 observatories spanning 98,677 instrument hours for CCN data, 157,880 for particle number size distributions, and 70,817 for chemical composition data are summarized.
Book ChapterDOI
Vertical and horizontal variability of aerosol single scattering albedo and hemispheric backscatter fraction over the united states
TL;DR: In this article, the optical properties of submicrometer aerosol particles were measured from the NOAA P-3 aircraft during the summer 1995 Southern Oxidant Study, which allowed determination of several key parameters needed to evaluate the radiative climate forcing by aerosols, including the aerosol single-scattering albedo and hemispheric backscattering fraction.
